Welcome Friends!

I love the ocean. I love the mountains. I love coffee. I love chocolate. I love Ayran. I love vegetables. I love Greek food. I love Nutella…and peanut butter…together. I love scarves, skinny jeans and boots. I love shorts, flipflops and sarongs. I am a bohemian I would like to think…eclectic in so many different ways.

I love to travel. I love Italy, Turkey, Morocco, Canada, of course, and so many more places I have visited and have yet to visit.

I am passionate. I am sensitive. I am deep. I am thoughful. I am intuitive. I am confident. I am pensive. I am funny. I am beautiful. I am strong. I am determined.

I love airports. I love coffee shops. I love mountain villages. I love the beach. I love Fiats 500s and Vespas. I love postcards. I love silver jewelry. I love short hair. I love my iPhone.

I am a fighter. I am compassionate. I am an advocate. I am all of these and more.

Simply put, I love life. And with this same love, I choose to photograph people, places and situations around me.

Love. Travel. Life. This is me. In a nutshell.

Have a look around my site. I have some travel galleries and blog posts in the links at the top.

I hope you enjoy what you see and are inspired to see more of our beautiful world. xx

Markets in Munich || German Travel Photographer

Autumn in Munich.

The crisp air…the orange leaves. Walking through the streets of Munich at this time of year has got to be one of the most lovely things.

And happening upon an open market - made it even better.

Wandering through Stroncone, Italy || Italy Travel Photographer

There are little villages in the hills of medieval Umbria, that literally make you feel like you have time traveled.

Stroncone is one.

And walking through her cobblestone streets felt like I was in an Italian movie scene.

I was…my own: I left a piece of my heart in Italy.

Italy is amazing. And will always be making sequels of that movie til the day I die. :)

Making travel photos with a smart phone?! || Turkey Travel Photographer

As I continue to travel, and as I continue to get older, I think I may be getting a wee wiser. :)

I love traveling light. What do I mean by light? By using a single backpack.

No having to wait for your luggage.

No pushing a luggage cart around.

Being able to be super mobile with your simple backpack.

As a travel who wants to fully immerse myself in the culture and local life, traveling light is definitely something I aim for.

I took my gear when I was commissioned to shoot for Lonely Planet Philippines in 2011, but I also took my then iPhone 4 and grabbed a plethora of fun shots.

Here’s a few from that trip to Turkey:

I mean of course, they are not top quality shots, BUT they are great snaps that captured parts of the trip.

It’s not about the gear - its about the photographer, your eye and how your frame what you are seeing.

Remember that the next time you are cursing that you don’t have the latest camera for your holidays.

Speaking of next trip - Next month - JULY - I will be hosting a Turkish Night in Forbes Park, Makati. We will have an authentic Turkish Meal, as well as a presentation of this fall’s AMAZING tour to Turkey. AND a short talk on how to make better travel photographs.

If you are in Metro Manila, you should consider coming. Details on the Turkish Night ticket cost will be available in the next week. Check my Facebook page for update. :)
